Function Description of function
Simmering
Identifies a power setting that is suitable for simmering in recipes with a long cooking time. Suitable
for cooking tomato sauce, ragù, soups, minestrone, maintaining a constant cooking level (ideal for
cooking in a bain-marie). Prevents food from boiling over or sticking to the bottom of the pan and
burning, as often happens with these recipes.
Melting
Identifies a power setting that is suitable for slowly melting delicate products without affecting their
texture (e.g. chocolate, butter).
Sensor
Automatically senses when water reaches the boiling point and reduces the power to maintain
boiling until the food is added. When the water reaches the boiling point, a signal will sound to
indicate that you can add your ingredients (e.g. seasoning, pasta, rice, vegetables, meat and fish).
Also suitable for making homemade preserves and sterilising accessories.
